The Role:

The client are looking for an Clinical Lead for an Integrated Mental Health Hub in Toowoomba, delivered by a consortium of partner organisations. The Hub will provide a coordinated “no-wrong-door” service model spanning the full stepped-care continuum — from low intensity to severe and complex mental health needs. 

In this role, you will contribute to a multidisciplinary team offering clinical and peer support, psychosocial services, and seamless referral pathways. You’ll work closely with community stakeholders, acute services, and regional partners to ensure integrated service delivery and embed the co-designed model of care. As the clinical lead you will provide clinical oversight and supervision to other practitioners. 

The Clinical Lead is the senior clinician responsible for guiding the clinical direction of the service, supporting a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care. They provide supervision, oversee complex cases, and help shape service pathways and clinical governance.

Essential Criteria:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. Psychology, Social Work, Counselling)
  • Experience working in mental health settings, preferably with moderate to severe presentations
  • Strong understanding of recovery-oriented and trauma-informed models of care
  • Excellent teamwork and stakeholder engagement skills — capacity to work across organisations and community services
  • Ability to develop and maintain integrated care pathways and documentation
  • Commitment to place-based, client-centred service delivery
  • Current driver’s licence and ability to travel regionally, where needed
