About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and dedicated Clinical Care Manager to join a small, community-focused aged care facility located in the beautiful coastal region of Queensland. This is a leadership position overseeing the clinical operations of the home, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care in line with Aged Care Quality Standards.

The role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a close-knit environment and is passionate about empowering older Australians to live with dignity, independence, and choice.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the nursing and care teams to ensure consistent, high-quality clinical care.

  • Oversee clinical governance processes, including care plans, assessments, and quality audits.

  • Manage and monitor AN-ACC classifications, care minutes, and compliance requirements.

  • Collaborate with residents, families, and healthcare providers to ensure optimal health outcomes.

  • Provide mentorship, performance management, and training support to clinical and care staff.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Coordinate and monitor reporting, including clinical indicators, audits, and governance meetings.


Essential Criteria:
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.

  • Proven leadership experience within residential aged care.

  • Strong understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and clinical governance frameworks.

  • Excellent communication, team management, and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage clinical documentation and reporting systems.

  • Well-developed organisational and time management abilities.

  • Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and person-centred culture.


Desirable:
  • Experience using Autumn Care or similar clinical software.

  • Infection Control Lead Certificate (or willingness to complete).
