As the Client Services Development Manager, you will be at the forefront of redesigning and optimising how client services are structured, operationalised, and scaled. You will work closely with clinical and service leaders to translate professional expertise into practical, repeatable, and commercially sustainable service offerings that are consistent across teams and locations. Your leadership will ensure services meet client needs while supporting referral growth, staff capacity, and operational efficiency.
In this generalist leadership position, you will monitor and improve service performance by analysing data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. You will also play a pivotal role in developing new service pathways and packaged offerings, ensuring they are clearly positioned and easy to communicate. Collaborating with internal teams and external partners, you will strengthen operational models to support long-term scalability and sustainability.
Additionally, you will provide interim leadership support to the Speech Team Leader during parental leave, ensuring continuity and maintaining service excellence within this specialty area. Your influence across functions will foster integration, stakeholder engagement, and continuous service enhancements aligned with organisational goals.
Requirements:- Proven experience in designing, structuring, and optimising services or programs in complex service environments
- Strong commercial and operational acumen, with a focus on service mix, scalability, efficiency, and sustainability
- Ability to think systemically—understanding how demand, capacity, funding, and delivery interact
- Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Experience influencing and driving change across multidisciplinary teams without formal authority
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management capabilities
- Experience working cross-functionally within education, healthcare, allied health, or community services is highly regarded but not essential
- Willingness and ability to travel as required
- Relevant tertiary qualification preferred (e.g., business, health services management, education, or related fields)
- Excellent communication skills with a collaborative and empathetic approach
