The Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical or Consulting Psychologist to provide high-quality assessment, treatment and care to children, adolescents and their families.

This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse and engaging caseload, with presentations including learning difficulties, emotional and anxiety concerns, behavioural challenges, social and developmental issues, and gifted learning needs.

Working as part of a large multidisciplinary team, the Psychologist will collaborate closely with Psychiatrists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists and Behavioural Therapists to ensure coordinated, client-centred care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Psychological assessment, intervention and ongoing therapeutic support

  • Working with children, adolescents and families across a range of developmental and mental health presentations

  • Use of psychometric assessment tools to support diagnostic and treatment planning

  • Contribution to mentoring, peer support and clinical supervision within the team

  • Delivery of in-clinic and online services as required


Requirements

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Psychologist

  • Demonstrated experience working with children, adolescents and families

  • Familiarity with a broad range of psychometric assessment tools

  • Sound knowledge of NDIS and Medicare frameworks

  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

  • Strong professional ethics and commitment to high-quality client care
