The role:
As a Family Support Caseworker, you’ll be a vital part of a multidisciplinary team delivering intensive, home-based support to families at risk of entering the child protection system. You will conduct thorough assessments, develop case plans, and provide ongoing, culturally sensitive case management that empowers families to improve parenting capacity and ensure child safety. Your work will involve home visits, referrals, advocacy, and close collaboration with external agencies to achieve lasting positive outcomes for children and their families.


Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualification and experience in social work, community services or related field
  • Ability to deliver trauma-informed, culturally competent casework with CALD families
  • Strong skills in risk assessment, client engagement, and case management
  • Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to professional development
