The role:
We are seeking a Business Development & Community Engagement Manager to support an organisation experiencing rapid growth in the NDIS Plan Management sector. In this role, you will help drive expansion by building strong referral networks, strengthening provider relationships, and increasing community awareness of Plan Management services.
You will work closely with leadership to implement growth initiatives, represent the organisation at expos and community events, and support the development of partnerships that ensure participants, families, and carers feel empowered and supported. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role suited to someone who enjoys variety, relationship-building, and contributing to the growth of a purpose-led organisation.
Essential Criteria:
- 1 - 2 years’ BDM experience, NDIS essential
- Strong understanding of NDIS funding categories, processes, and participant needs
- Experience in business development, partnerships, or stakeholder engagement
- Proven ability to achieve growth or referral targets
- Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work autonomously
- Empathy, initiative, and a genuine passion for supporting people navigating the NDIS
