The Role

We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join a growing and supportive team delivering high-quality Positive Behaviour Support services. In this role, you will work with participants presenting with complex behaviours and develop evidence-based behaviour support strategies that promote improved quality of life and positive outcomes. You will conduct functional behaviour assessments, develop comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans, and collaborate closely with participants, families, support teams, and allied health professionals. The position offers the opportunity to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative clinical environment. You will provide guidance and support to less experienced practitioners and participate in reflective practice activities. A strong focus on reducing restrictive practices and promoting person-centred approaches is essential. You will contribute to quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with relevant NDIS requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for a practitioner looking to further develop their leadership and clinical expertise.

Essential Criteria:

• NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner registration Core, proficient or advanced 
• Experience in Behaviour Support
• Demonstrated experience managing complex participant caseloads
• Strong assessment, report writing and Behaviour Support Plan development skills
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities
• Sound knowledge of NDIS Quality and Safeguards requirements
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Current Australian Driver's Licence
• Commitment to person-centred and evidence-based practice
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
