The Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and compassionate Behaviour Support Practitioner to join their therapy and behaviour support team.

In this role, the successful candidate will provide behavioural assessment, intervention, and capacity-building support to individuals and their support networks in line with NDIS Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework standards.

The Behaviour Support Practitioner will develop interim and comprehensive behaviour support plans, monitor progress, and evaluate outcomes. They will work collaboratively with individuals, families, and service providers to build skills, independence, and inclusion within the community.

This position is part of a values-driven team committed to evidence-based practice, continuous improvement, and delivering high-quality care.


Requirements

  • Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Behavioural Science, or related field
  • Registration as an NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner (Core level or above)
  • Demonstrated experience providing positive behaviour support and working with clients with complex needs
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed and person-centred practice
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development
  • Current National Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, First Aid & CPR certificates
  • Current driver’s licence and access to a registered, comprehensively insured vehicle
