The role:
As an Audiologist, your primary focus will be assessing, fitting, and reviewing clients with hearing loss, including cochlear implant candidates. You’ll conduct assessments, provide programming for cochlear implants, and deliver auditory training programs. Some appointments will be face-to-face in clinic, while others will be via telepractice, allowing flexibility in service delivery. You will also participate in outreach visits to regional areas when needed and contribute to ongoing professional development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Audiology
- Registration with Audiology Australia and eligibility for a Medicare Provider Number
- Experience with paediatric and adult audiological assessments
- Current NDIS worker screening check and Working with Children Check
