The AOD Practitioner/Counsellor supports the alcohol and drug service to deliver holistic, trauma-informed, and culturally appropriate intervention and counselling to clients in a Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation centre.
Responsibilities include running programs and group therapy sessions, psycho-education, case management, and intervention-focused activities. The role also involves supporting clients with life skills development, case management, medical support, and transport.
Requirements:
- Considerable AOD & Mental Health case management experience
- Experience working with individuals affected by substance abuse
- Understanding and experience in working with First Nation Peoples
- Valid National Police Clearance
- Current WA Driver's License
- Covid Vaccinations
