The role:

As the Occupational Therapy Team Lead working across Aged Care and the Support at Home Program (HCP/CHSP), you’ll lead a dedicated team delivering high-quality, person-centred services to older adults living in the community. You’ll provide advanced clinical assessment and intervention, helping clients maintain their independence, safety, and wellbeing at home. Through a holistic and strengths-based approach, you’ll develop and oversee care plans that enhance mobility, function, and participation in meaningful daily activities. You’ll work collaboratively with clients, their families, and other allied health and care professionals to ensure services are tailored, effective, and aligned with each person’s goals and support needs.

In this leadership role, you’ll guide and mentor your Occupational Therapy team, fostering a positive culture of learning, collaboration, and clinical excellence. You’ll oversee clinical quality, manage caseloads, and ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and Support at Home Program requirements. You’ll contribute to service development, drive innovation in therapy practices, and champion a person-first approach across all aspects of care. Through your leadership, you’ll strengthen the capability of your team and the broader organisation to deliver outstanding outcomes for older Australians wanting to live safely and confidently in their own homes.

Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy or relevant discipline
  • General AHPRA registration
  • Valid NDIS Check
  • Police Check
  • Full driving license and access to reliable vehicle
