Seb Newton’s path into recruitment started after a move from energy sales in Melbourne, when a friend suggested he try healthcare recruitment. It proved to be the right fit, and more than four years later he has built a career helping aged care providers secure the talent they need.

Seb’s career highlight was his involvement in the national COVID vaccination project. Working closely with Daniel Harris, he recruited immunisation nurses who delivered more than 350,000 vaccinations in aged care and disability facilities across Australia. The fast-moving environment demanded adaptability and teamwork, skills Seb continues to bring to every role he recruits.

At Curamoir, Seb specialises in aged care recruitment across both temporary and permanent roles, often tackling workforce shortages in regional and rural facilities. He is known for being honest, approachable, and solutions-focused, combining his knowledge of the sector with both the latest recruitment technology and the strong personal networks he has developed over the years.

Away from work, Seb is an avid golfer and Spurs supporter, never missing a game despite the time difference. He enjoys weekends on the course with friends and takes part in community events like City2Surf. Originally arriving in Australia for what was meant to be a short holiday, he has since made it home, continuing to grow both his career and life here.
