Ellie Stephens’ career began in Early Years education, where she spent eight years working as a practitioner, Special Education Needs Coordinator, and Assistant Director. Wanting to use her knowledge in a new way, she moved into recruitment, starting with Early Years and Social Science Further Education teachers in the UK before diversifying into Prison Education, where she recruited construction lecturers, assessors and leadership roles.

Her recruitment career has been defined by quick progression, working up from trainee to Managing Consultant in just 18 months. During that time, Ellie built and led a successful team, trained new consultants and grew a client base that included one of her company’s top spenders.
At Curamoir, Ellie specialises in Allied Health recruitment across WA, NT, QLD, and SA, bringing the same mix of empathy and thoughtfulness that shaped her earlier success.
Ellie is particularly skilled at supporting the long-term goals of both clients and candidates, guaranteeing that the placements she makes are lasting. With a proactive and people-first mindset, she’s known for her ability to step into others’ shoes and find workable solutions that benefit both employers and professionals looking for their next role.
Outside of work, Ellie embraces the outdoors as much as possible while giving back to the community with fundraising efforts such as the City2Surf in Australia and charity work with St Peter’s Hospice back in the UK.
