Daniel Harris’s career in recruitment began in the UK, where he worked in technology recruitment before moving to Australia on what was meant to be a one-year stint. When COVID hit, he pivoted into healthcare recruitment and discovered a sector he was passionate about. From staffing nationwide immunisation clinics to leading recruitment projects across hospitals and aged care, he has become a trusted partner in solving complex workforce challenges.

Daniel’s proudest professional achievement is his role in the national COVID vaccination program, where he and colleague Seb Newton recruited the nurses who administered more than 350,000 vaccines to aged care and disability residents. This experience set the stage for his continued work delivering large-scale recruitment campaigns, from surge projects after natural disasters to international drives bringing nurses to regional Australia.

Today, Daniel leads Curamoir’s nursing division across QLD, NSW, and TAS, managing both temporary and permanent recruitment. He is known for his transparent, problem-solving approach, his ability to thrive under pressure, and his deep understanding of the aged care and nursing markets. Clients and candidates value his consistency, accountability, and focus on delivering what he promises.

Outside of work, Daniel is passionate about sport. A lifelong football and rugby player, he now divides his time between running, golf, and the gym. He also takes part in charity events such as City2Surf, Sleep Under the Stars, and half marathons, combining his love of competition with a drive to make a difference.
