The role:
The client is a registered NDIS provider, established with the vision of extending care to participants with disabilities and consistently going the extra mile to support them in achieving their needs and goals. They believe in caring without borders and are dedicated to understanding and addressing the individual needs of those we support.
We are seeking an experienced Support Coordinator to join their growing team of professionals. As a Support Coordinator, you will assist people with disabilities in building the capacity to achieve their NDIS goals. You will help NDIS members activate, interpret, and implement their NDIS plans. Your responsibilities will include organising service agreements, coordinating service providers and supports, communicating with government organizations, obtaining service quotations, and monitoring participants' plans. For each participant you support, you will submit Support Coordination reports to the NDIA.

Essential Criteria:
- Diploma in Community Services, 2-3 years of relevant experience, and expertise in budget management with financial principles application.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and computer proficiency.
- Outstanding customer service skills with genuine care and empathy for clients and participants.
- Excellent organizational abilities, capable of multitasking and exceeding KPIs.
- Ability to work effectively both in a team and independently, aligning with the organisation’s vision and values.
- Proven leadership in engaging and inspiring teams through clear decision-making and supportive, collaborative leadership.
- Extensive experience in aged care/disability sector management, with advanced knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and industry trends.
- Strong interpersonal skills to develop relationships, negotiate complex matters, and propose timely solutions.
