The role:
Our client is seeking a qualified Speech Pathologist to join their dynamic team, dedicated to improving the lives of individuals through a comprehensive healthcare approach. In this role, you will take on the crucial responsibility of addressing communication and swallowing disorders across diverse age groups. Your work will involve conducting thorough assessments to identify specific needs and implementing evidence-based interventions tailored to each individual's unique requirements. Operating within the framework of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), you will collaborate closely to optimize the communication and swallowing capabilities of clients. Your expertise in assistive technology will be instrumental in providing assessments, recommendations, and applications within the speech pathology domain. As a Speech Pathologist, meticulous documentation is key, ensuring that assessments, interventions, and progress are accurately recorded and communicated. Detailed reports will be generated to provide a comprehensive overview of findings and recommendations for each client.

Managing a varied caseload, you will be responsible for delivering personalized attention and care to each individual. Upholding professional standards is integral to this role, including meeting billable targets and ensuring effective client management. Continuous professional development is encouraged, with opportunities to engage in ongoing learning, attend meetings, supervision sessions, and participate in personal development activities. Building positive relationships with stakeholders, including fellow therapists, clients, and referral sources, is a fundamental aspect of this position.   • Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology or related discipline
  • SPA Registration
  • Driver's licence & access to a reliable vehicle
