The role:
Our clients is a national healthcare provider and their Speech Pathology team is expanding and we are seeking our next clinician to join us! You will join a national team of 50+ Speech Pathologists in their NDIS division providing clinical services to participants aged 0-65. You will work across early intervention, school age, adolescent and adult services with clients who have various presentations, diagnoses and disability types.

You will work with an amazing group of clients with varying complexity, communication and swallowing needs, over a period of months or even years. You will play an integral part in your client’s personal growth and development, working together to meet their goals. You will form a close bond with your clients and celebrate their achievements together, every step of the way.

The type of assessments and interventions you will provide will include:

  • Communication Assessments
  • Swallowing and Paediatric Feeding (Dysphagia) Assessments
  • Mealtime Management Plan development and reviews
  • Augmentative and Alternative Communication Assessments
  • Ongoing therapy

You will work across various environments, including family homes, disability group homes, day programs, schools, preschools, community settings, telehealth and our clients offices.

You will have access to administration and IT support, high quality and validated Speech Pathology assessment tools, online resource subscriptions, internal and external professional development opportunities, the opportunity for clinical specialisation as well as career progression.

Essential Criteria:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology
  • Registration or ability to become registered with SPA
  • A car and licence
  • A National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or able to acquire one for client facing roles (or willingness to obtain one before commencement)
