The Role

A well-established healthcare provider is expanding its Speech Pathology team and is looking for a new clinician to join them! You will become part of a nationwide team of over 50 Speech Pathologists within their NDIS division, delivering clinical services to participants aged 0-65. Your role will encompass early intervention, school-age, adolescent, and adult services, working with clients who have a variety of presentations, diagnoses, and disabilities.

You will engage with a diverse group of clients with complex communication and swallowing needs, building relationships over months or even years. You will play a crucial role in your clients’ personal growth and development, collaborating to achieve their goals. Throughout this journey, you will form strong bonds with your clients and celebrate their successes every step of the way.

The type of assessments and interventions you will provide will include:

  • Communication Assessments
  • Swallowing and Paediatric Feeding (Dysphagia) Assessments
  • Mealtime Management Plan development and reviews
  • Augmentative and Alternative Communication Assessments
  • Ongoing therapy  

You will work across various environments, including family homes, disability group homes, day programs, schools, preschools, community settings, telehealth and our clients offices.

You will have access to administration and IT support, high quality and validated Speech Pathology assessment tools, online resource subscriptions, internal and external professional development opportunities, the opportunity for clinical specialisation as well as career progression.


Essential Criteria
  • Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology
  • Registration or ability to become registered with SPA
  • A car and licence
  • A National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or able to acquire one for client facing roles (or willingness to obtain one before commencement)
