The role
As the Positive Behaviour Support, you will take the lead in developing and delivering person-centred, evidence-based behaviour support strategies for individuals with disability. Your role involves conducting functional behaviour assessments, formulating comprehensive behaviour support plans, and leading clinical audits. You will guide the implementation of restrictive practice step-down strategies, oversee risk assessments, and ensure compliance with the NDIS Practice Standards and the Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework. In addition, you will support and mentor less experienced practitioners, contribute to interdisciplinary clinical development, and deliver secondary consultations and training to stakeholders.

The role
As the Positive Behaviour Support, you will take the lead in developing and delivering person-centred, evidence-based behaviour support strategies for individuals with disability. Your role involves conducting functional behaviour assessments, formulating comprehensive behaviour support plans, and leading clinical audits. You will guide the implementation of restrictive practice step-down strategies, oversee risk assessments, and ensure compliance with the NDIS Practice Standards and the Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework. In addition, you will support and mentor less experienced practitioners, contribute to interdisciplinary clinical development, and deliver secondary consultations and training to stakeholders.
You will also hold leadership responsibilities, providing clinical supervision and supporting the Positive Behaviour Support team to ensure high-quality service delivery. You’ll manage reporting requirements, including submitting behaviour support plans to the NDIS Commission, and maintain thorough and timely documentation. Engaging in service improvement initiatives, audits, and committee participation will be key, as will promoting a culture of safety, ethics, and continual learning. Your ability to collaborate effectively, think critically, and contribute to strategic service development will be central to your success in this role.
Requirements- Minimum Bachelor degree in Psychology, Applied Behaviour Analysis, Social Work, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy or related discipline

- Min 4 years' experience
- Valid NDIS Check
- Police Check
- Working with Children Check
