The role:
As a Speech Pathologist with our clients team, you'll play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive assessments and tailored therapy to children aged 2 to 18 years. Your focus will be on developing individualized therapy plans, drawing from evidence-based practices, and aligning them with each child's goals and unique needs. By collaborating closely with children and their families, you'll create a nurturing and inclusive environment where progress can flourish.

Continuous monitoring and documentation of client progress will be integral to your role, ensuring that therapy remains effective and adaptive to evolving needs. Working alongside healthcare professionals and educators, you'll contribute to a holistic, child-centred approach to care across various settings. Additionally, your commitment to ongoing professional development will ensure that your skills and knowledge remain current and effective.

Your role will extend beyond individual therapy sessions, as you'll participate in collaborative team and culture days every term, fostering a supportive and enriching work environment. While home visits are not part of our service, community visits to childcare centres, kindergartens, or schools may be required on occasion. With initial key performance indicators (KPIs) gradually increasing over time, you'll have the opportunity to grow and expand your impact, ultimately making a meaningful difference in the lives of the children you serve.

Essential Criteria:
  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology or related discipline
  • SPA Registration
  • Driver's licence & access to a reliable vehicle
  • WWCC, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and Police Check
  • First Aid (optional)
