Key Responsibilities:
- Manage individuals with neurological and developmental conditions.
- Monitor, evaluate, and modify treatment plans.
- Provide input into interdisciplinary assessments, treatment, and discharge planning.
- Discuss services and treatment options with potential clients and caregivers.
- Prepare comprehensive assessment, costing, and rehabilitation reports.
- Involve clients in planning and prioritising their rehabilitation plans.
- Offer support, consultation, and advice on speech pathology issues.
- Manage complex cases and coordinate services from various sectors.
- Utilise evidence-based practices to demonstrate clinical effectiveness.
Essential Criteria
- Qualification in Speech Pathology (Undergraduate or Masters)
- Registration with Speech Pathology Australia
- Associated Private Indemnity Insurance
- Full valid Driver’s License
- Working with Children’s Check or NDIS Worker Screening Check
- An interest in Neurological rehabilitation
