The role:
Our client, a distinguished not-for-profit organization, is seeking a dedicated Speech Pathologist to join their Allied Services and Wellbeing division. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing best practice, evidence-informed speech pathology services to empower individuals with disabilities. Aligned with a commitment to human rights, person-centred practices, and interdisciplinary models of support, you will contribute to enabling people with disabilities to achieve their goals and lead lives of their choosing.

As a Speech Pathologist at our client, you will manage a clinical case load within your defined scope of practice, meeting clinical Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in accordance with divisional requirements. Your responsibilities extend to supporting divisional objectives and priorities through training delivery and active participation in key projects. Upholding the organization's values and principles, you will attend organizational meetings, undergo mandatory training, and adhere to policies and procedures that underscore our client's century-long commitment to supporting individuals with disabilities.

Your clinical expertise will encompass a broad spectrum, including the assessment of language, literacy, and communication skills, as well as the implementation of interventions and assistive technologies. Additionally, your role will involve addressing challenges related to eating and drinking, encompassing dysphagia management, mealtime planning, and support team training. Essential Criteria
  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Speech Pathology
  • Registration with SPA
  • Current Police Check, NDIS Workers Screening Check and Working with Children Check
  • Driving License
