As a Senior Speech Pathologist – Team Leader, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based assessment and intervention to clients across the lifespan. As a Senior Speech Pathologist – Team Leader, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based assessment and intervention to clients across the lifespan. You will collaborate with clients, families, and carers to develop tailored therapy plans and continually monitor outcomes to ensure meaningful progress. Accurate and timely documentation aligned with ethical and NDIS standards will be a key part of your clinical work. You will also contribute to service improvement initiatives, support the development of clinical resources and procedures, and participate in audits and business planning to ensure best practice across all areas of care.
In this leadership role, you will provide supervision, mentoring, and clinical guidance to junior clinicians while actively supporting the growth and development of the Speech Pathology team. You’ll facilitate case discussions, lead team learning and reflective practice sessions, and assist with performance reviews and staff development plans. You’ll also help onboard and train new team members, working closely with the Allied Health Operations Manager to plan workflows, manage team capacity, and enhance clinical efficiency. Your leadership will help foster a positive, collaborative team environment focused on continuous improvement and client-centred care.
Requirements- Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology
- SPA Registration
- 5 years' experience
- A reliable vehicle and licence
- Police Check
- Working With Children
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Modules
