The role:
As a Senior Speech Pathologist, you will play a pivotal role in helping children and adolescents aged 0-18 develop their communication skills within a neurodiversity-affirming framework. You will utilize your expertise to support children in expressing themselves through their preferred methods, whether that be speaking, gestures, or alternative augmentative communication (AAC). Your work will be enriched by the integration of cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), virtual reality (VR), and augmented reality (AR), which will enhance the multi-sensory experiences and activities you provide to our clients.

Your role will emphasize a family-centered approach, recognizing the vital importance of parental involvement in each child's developmental journey. You will collaborate closely with families, training parents to become co-therapists who can continue to support their child's progress at home. By fostering this collaborative environment, you will ensure that the therapeutic strategies extend beyond our sessions, creating a consistent and supportive framework for each child's growth.

You will celebrate the unique strengths of every child, embracing an inclusive approach that respects diverse learning and communication styles. You will work within the neurodiversity paradigm, focusing on adapting your methods to meet the individual needs of each child rather than attempting to change their inherent nature. This philosophy aligns with our clients commitment to creating a safe, loving, and respectful environment that prioritizes the well-being of every client in emotional, sensory, communicative, social, and academic dimensions.

As a Senior Speech Pathologist, you will also have the opportunity to lead and mentor a team of therapists, sharing your knowledge and fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development. Your expertise will be crucial in advancing our mission to help each child reach their maximum potential through innovative, compassionate, and effective therapy practices. Join an organisation that celebrates differences and champion the unique contributions of every child and family we serve.
