Our Client
A well-established paediatric service provider with multiple locations, specialising in the care and support of children, adolescents, and their families. The organisation features a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychologists, speech and language therapists, and occupational therapists, who work together to deliver integrated and comprehensive care.


The Role
As a Senior Speechie, you will provide clinical support and supervision to a team of therapists, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and promoting professional development. You will manage a small caseload and collaborate closely with other allied health professionals to deliver multidisciplinary care to clients and their families.


Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise a team of speech and language therapists, providing clinical guidance and support.
  • Perform assessments and create tailored treatment plans for children and adolescents.
  • Implement evidence-based speech therapy interventions for a varied paediatric client base.
  • Collaborate with psychologists, occupational therapists, and other health professionals to deliver cohesive care.
  • Mentor and support speech therapists, encouraging their professional development.
  • Partner with senior professionals to manage and oversee service delivery.
  • Engage in case conferences, team meetings, and continuous professional development activities.
  • Ensure documentation and reporting are completed accurately and promptly.
Essential Criteria
  • Australian accredited tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology.
  • Current SPA membership
  • 5 + years’ experience including mentoring and supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices in speech therapy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Working with Children Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
