As the Senior Behaviour Support Practitioner Team Lead, you will provide high-level, evidence-informed behaviour support to individuals with complex needs, including those subject to restrictive practices. Your duties will include conducting comprehensive functional behaviour assessments, developing interim and comprehensive behaviour support plans, and using trauma-informed, person-centred approaches that prioritise the reduction and elimination of restrictive practices. You’ll provide expert consultation to families, carers, and providers, ensure ongoing plan evaluation, and maintain full compliance with NDIS Commission requirements through timely documentation and reporting.

As the Senior Behaviour Support Practitioner Team Lead, you will provide high-level, evidence-informed behaviour support to individuals with complex needs, including those subject to restrictive practices. Your duties will include conducting comprehensive functional behaviour assessments, developing interim and comprehensive behaviour support plans, and using trauma-informed, person-centred approaches that prioritise the reduction and elimination of restrictive practices. You’ll provide expert consultation to families, carers, and providers, ensure ongoing plan evaluation, and maintain full compliance with NDIS Commission requirements through timely documentation and reporting.
In your leadership role, you’ll mentor and supervise behaviour support practitioners at core and proficient levels, ensuring the quality and consistency of clinical documentation. You’ll facilitate reflective practice sessions, team meetings, and case reviews while supporting onboarding and professional development across the team. Working closely with the Allied Health Operations Manager, you'll contribute to service planning, continuous quality improvement, audit readiness, and clinical policy development to help build an efficient, high-performing behaviour support service.
Requirements- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy or related field
- Minimum Proficient BSP Registration
- 5 years' experience
- A reliable vehicle and licence
- Police Check
- Working With Children
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Modules
