The role:

You’ll be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and providing intervention in areas such as early language, speech sound disorders, literacy, social communication, school readiness, and supporting children with developmental delays, genetic conditions, or Autism Spectrum Disorder. Therapy will be delivered in 1:1 or group settings, at the clinic, in homes, educational settings, or via telehealth, with a strong focus on family-centred, play-based, and neuroaffirming approaches. You will also collaborate with occupational therapists to help clients achieve holistic goals and ensure all services meet professional, organisational, and NDIS standards.

You will work closely with families, providing coaching, practical strategies, and guidance to support the generalisation of skills into everyday routines. Your role will include maintaining accurate documentation, therapy plans, and progress reports, assisting with NDIS funding applications, and contributing to team meetings, peer supervision, and professional development. You’ll be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, sharing resources and clinical insights, while managing a caseload that meets agreed KPIs. The position offers scope for optional mentoring of early-career clinicians if you have the relevant experience and interest.
