You will conduct comprehensive assessments, create clear and actionable therapy plans, and provide targeted parent and educator coaching to support skill development in home, school, and community settings. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will liaise closely with speech pathologists and therapy assistants to ensure your plans are implemented effectively and progress is monitored. You will use a combination of standardised and informal tools to assess areas such as sensory and emotional regulation, social and play skills, motor skills, handwriting, self-care, and school readiness.

Your day-to-day duties will involve delivering short-term interventions, training others to implement strategies, and reviewing and adjusting plans to achieve agreed outcomes. You will maintain accurate, timely documentation and ensure all work complies with professional standards, NDIS requirements, and organisational policies. Building strong rapport with children, families, educators, and colleagues is central to the role, as is clear communication of your strategies to ensure consistency in delivery. This position requires independence, initiative, and the ability to translate assessments into practical, functional solutions that create meaningful change in children’s lives.
