The Role:

Our client is seeking an experienced Registered Psychologist to deliver evidence based psychological assessments and interventions to job seekers, while also supporting Employment Services providers in achieving return-to-work outcomes.

This role offers a mix of clinical and vocational work, including:

  • Conducting intake and critical incident assessments.
  • Delivering tailored, evidence-based interventions for individuals or groups, working across the lifespan from teens to older adults.
  • Completing vocational assessments and interventions to improve job readiness, such as resume building, interview skills, and work goal setting.
  • Producing timely, accurate reports with practical recommendations for return-to-work plans.
  • Engaging with employment consultants, business managers, and local health professionals to ensure cohesive support for job seekers.
  • Providing mental health awareness sessions and participating in monthly case review meetings.
  • Performance expectations include achieving strong return-to-work outcomes, maintaining low non-attendance rates, and meeting quality standards for written reports.

Requirements:

  • General AHPRA registration with experience delivering evidence based assessments and interventions.
  • Skilled in vocational rehabilitation, work readiness, and job-person environment fit assessments.
  • Strong report writing abilities with practical, actionable recommendations.
  • Effective stakeholder engagement with employment services and allied health professionals.
  • Self-managed, flexible, and compassionate, with a commitment to ethics and continuous learning.
