The Role:
Our client is seeking a Recruitment Officer to manage the recruitment and induction of support workers. This position involves handling a high volume of applications, identifying suitable candidates efficiently, and ensuring compliance with credentialing requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing job advertisements and managing the end-to-end recruitment process
- Shortlisting candidates, conducting interviews, and performing thorough reference checks
- Ensuring compliance with Fair Work legislation and National Employment Standards
- Collaborating with the Care Manager and Rostering Team to meet staffing needs
- Maintaining recruitment records and providing reports on hiring metrics
- Attending recruitment events and building relationships with external partners
Essential Criteria:
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume recruitment role
- Strong ability to assess candidates quickly and effectively
- Knowledge of disability services and the NDIS framework
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Understanding of Fair Work legislation and modern recruitment techniques
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- A current Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and police check
- Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle
