The role:
As Physiotherapist, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the mobility, function, and overall well-being of your clients patients. This position involves a multifaceted approach, encompassing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning. You will conduct thorough assessments, evaluating patients' physical conditions, including mobility, strength, coordination, and balance. With a commitment to accuracy, you will formulate precise diagnoses based on assessment findings and medical history, laying the foundation for targeted and effective treatment plans.

In the realm of treatment planning and implementation, you will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. They develop individualized treatment plans that align with diagnoses, utilizing a diverse range of therapeutic techniques and exercises to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance overall physical function. Education will be a key component of your role, as you empower your patients with knowledge about their conditions, treatment plans, and essential self-management techniques, fostering a sense of autonomy and active participation in the rehabilitation process.

Your responsibilities extend into the realm of rehabilitation, where you will implement programs designed to assist patients in regaining function and independence following injuries, surgeries, or illnesses. Continuous monitoring of progress, flexibility in adjusting treatment plans, and the establishment of new goals as needed underscore your dedication to optimizing rehabilitation outcomes. In addition to hands-on care, you will maintain meticulous records, documenting assessments, treatments, and progress, ensuring a comprehensive and cohesive approach to patient care. Through effective communication and collaboration with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and therapists, you will contribute to the organization's commitment to holistic and patient-centred care, embodying the principles of inclusivity, compassion, and continuous improvement

Essential Criteria:

  • Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapist
  • Minimum 2 years experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards
  • Current Police Check and Working With Children Check
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check
  • Valid Driving License and access to fully insured car
