The role:
We are seeking a dedicated Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our clients multidisciplinary team, focusing on providing specialized care to primary school aged clients. Your role will make a difference in the lives of children and their families. Through evidence-based practice and a child-centred approach, you will play a crucial role in helping children achieve their developmental milestones, enhance their learning abilities, and participate fully in daily activities.

As a Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you will assess and treat a diverse range of conditions, including but not limited to developmental delays, sensory processing disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and physical disabilities. Utilizing a mix of clinical skills and therapeutic play, you will work closely with children to improve their gross and fine motor skills, social interactions, self-care, and coping strategies. Tailoring intervention plans to each child's unique needs, you will empower them to navigate their world with greater confidence and independence.

Collaboration is at the heart of this practice. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of health professionals, educators, and families to provide holistic care that supports not just the child, but also their environment. This involves participating in team meetings, contributing to care plans, and offering guidance to caregivers on strategies to support their child's development at home and in the community.

Essential Criteria
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapist or relevant discipline
  • AHPRA Registration
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check/Orientation Modules,
  • Police Check
  • WWCC
