The Role:

As the Operations Manager you will handle the day-to-day operations of a dynamic disability support organisation delivering 24/7 in-home care. You will oversee service quality, compliance, documentation, and participant onboarding. You’ll juggle multiple priorities — from handling new participant setups and resolving staffing or client issues, to refining internal systems and supporting staff development. No two days will look the same, and success in this role depends on your ability to adapt quickly and work across competing demands. You'll manage support worker rostering, liaise with participants, and guide staff toward delivering truly tailored, person-centred support. You’ll be in the field when needed, building relationships and ensuring quality across services. A background in in-home care is essential, and a genuine passion for operational excellence will set you apart.

Essential Criteria:
  • Minimum Diploma in Disability, Community Services, Health or similar — or equivalent experience
  • Experience in dynamic in-home/community-based disability care settings
  • Excellent multitasking, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of NDIS compliance, service delivery standards, and documentation
  • Experience in managing support teams and service operations
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Valid driver’s licence and access to own vehicle
  • Ability to write clear reports and support plans
  • Willingness to participate in on-call roster (one weeknight/month + one night/ week, no expectation to answer between 10pm-6am)
  • Commitment to flexible, participant-led, responsive support delivery
