The role:
In this role, you will provide tailored, evidence-based assessments and interventions to clients across a diverse caseload, including paediatric, adolescent, and adult populations. You will deliver services to individuals with developmental delays and/or disabilities, ensuring therapy is responsive to their needs. Your responsibilities will span a variety of settings, including client homes, schools, our well-equipped clinic, and via telehealth, offering flexibility and variety in your daily routine.

You will engage directly with clients and their families, conducting assessments and delivering intervention plans designed to achieve meaningful outcomes. This position requires you to adapt your approach depending on the client’s age and therapy modality, ensuring each client receives a personalised and effective service. Your ability to connect with individuals from all backgrounds will help create a supportive and empowering environment for positive change.

Collaboration is a key aspect of the role, as you will work within a transdisciplinary team to achieve quality outcomes. This involves sharing expertise, developing strategies, and contributing to a cohesive team dynamic that prioritises evidence-based practices. Your role is pivotal in ensuring clients receive a holistic approach to their therapy journey, helping them thrive in all aspects of life.

Essential Criteria
  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy or relevant discipline
  • Full AHPRA registration
  • Medicare Providers Number
  • Police Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • NDIS Screening Check
  • Full driving license and access to reliable vehicle
