We're looking for a Clinical Nurse Consultant Grade 2 to join a mission-led not-for-profit and make a meaningful impact on the lives of vulnerable individuals in Sydney's Inner and Eastern suburbs.
 

On offer:

  • Clinical Nurse Consultant Grade 2 (Level1-2) rates NSW Public Health system - salary $122-125k + super

About the Role:

  • Provide high-quality care to vulnerable individuals experiencing isolation, marginalized from accessing health services, at risk of homelessness, and with chronic-complex health conditions.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and multidisciplinary teams to achieve goals and health outcomes.
  • Take a leadership role in coordinating nursing and health care, practicing independently and interdependently with accountability and responsibility for delegation of care.

As a Clinical Nurse Consultant Grade 2, you will:

  • Offer expert clinical advice and consultancy to clients, patients, carers, and fellow healthcare professionals within a defined specialty.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate care management plans for patients with complex health needs.
  • Practice independently and interdependently with extended scope, autonomy, and decision-making responsibilities.
  • Provide leadership to drive ongoing development of clinical practice and utilise research findings in service provision.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of specialty-related education programs and participate in strategic and operational planning for clinical services.


Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (Division 1) with AHPRA
  • Minimum 5 years post-registration experience with relevant post grad qualifications
  • Proficiency in computer literacy and electronic patient record systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid NSW Driver’s Licence
