The Role
As a Registered Nurse in the Withdrawal Unit, you will:
- Develop and implement personalised withdrawal treatment plans.
- Provide trauma-informed, person-centered care to participants with complex needs.
- Collaborate with GPs, Nurse Practitioners, and community care teams to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate client records and deliver comprehensive nursing handovers.
- Participate in therapeutic programs and contribute to clients’ recovery journeys.
Requirements
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Experience in AOD, mental health, or trauma-informed care is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of medication handling procedures and relevant health regulations.
- A commitment to providing safe, high-quality care.
