The Role
As Team Leader, you’ll oversee and coordinate the delivery of person-centred disability services across accommodation and community settings. You will support staff, mentor teams, liaise with participants and stakeholders, and ensure service delivery aligns with NDIS standards.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
  • Leading, mentoring, and supervising Disability Support Workers and Admin Assistants
  • Overseeing client onboarding, service agreements, and ongoing engagement
  • Managing staff rosters and participating in the on-call rotation
  • Monitoring participant budgets, submitting quotes, and managing funding efficiently
  • Conducting compliance tasks including audits, reporting, and CRM accuracy
  • Visiting SIL homes to ensure high service standards and supporting setup of new sites
  • Handling recruitment processes including interviews, inductions, and performance reviews
  • Conducting quarterly surveys with carers, participants, and stakeholders
  • Promoting a positive, collaborative, and safe workplace culture
  • Managing risks, safeguarding practices, and contributing to continuous service improvement

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in the disability, community or accommodation services sector
  • A strong understanding of NDIS requirements, particularly SIL and support coordination
  • Experience in staff supervision, rostering, compliance, and budgeting
  • Proficiency using CRM systems (e.g., CareKernel) and rostering software
  • Ability to manage site operations, including WHS, audits, and property/vehicle oversight
  • Exceptional communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Sound knowledge of safeguarding, restrictive practices, and mandatory reporting obligations
  • A current Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel between accommodation sites
  • Relevant qualifications in Disability, Community Services, or similar field
