The Role

As a Mental Health Clinician specialising in youth, your primary responsibility will be to provide comprehensive mental health services, including case management and therapeutic interventions to young people.

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team under the supervision of the Clinical Lead. Your role will involve supporting young people dealing with a range of severe and complex mental health issues, such as psychosis, major depression, severe anxiety, eating disorders, and personality disorders. By employing a recovery-oriented approach, you will play a critical role in tailoring support to meet the individual needs of each young person.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in psychology, social work, occupational therapy, or mental health nursing
• Current full membership or registration with AHPRA or AASW
• Understanding of relevant legislation such as the Mental Health Act
• Demonstrated clinical practice experience in the mental health field, particularly with youth
• Experience in working with young individuals and their families who have complex mental health concerns, both in case management and therapeutic roles
• Proficiency in providing high-quality assessments and evidence-based interventions within a recovery framework
• 'C' Class Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable vehicle
• National Police Check and WA WWCC
• Flexibility to travel between locations and work outside standard operating hours when required
