The role:
In this role, you will provide high-quality, specialist occupational therapy services to children and their families across clinic, home, school, and community settings. You’ll carry out tailored assessments, develop and implement individual and group programs, and evaluate interventions to ensure progress towards each child’s goals. You’ll also take on complex cases requiring collaboration with other health professionals, while ensuring accurate and timely documentation in line with NDIS and Medicare requirements. Building strong connections with families, schools, and healthcare providers will be central to your role in delivering coordinated and effective care.

As a clinical lead, you’ll also contribute to the development of the team by supervising and mentoring therapists, allied health assistants, and students. You’ll foster innovation, leadership, and program growth within the service, while maintaining a focus on family-centred practice. This position requires you to balance clinical work with leadership responsibilities, ensuring that both the delivery of therapy and the support of your team meet the highest standards. Ultimately, your role will be to empower children and their families to reach their full potential, while shaping and guiding the practice of those around you.

Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy or relevant degree
  • General AHPRA Registration
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Min 3 years' experience
  • Supervisory experience desirable
