The role:
As a Senior Occupational Therapist – Team Lead, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based assessment and intervention to clients across the lifespan. Working in collaboration with clients, families, and carers, you will develop and implement tailored therapy plans, regularly reviewing progress to ensure outcomes are meaningful and client-centred. Your clinical responsibilities will include maintaining accurate and timely documentation in line with ethical and NDIS standards. You will also play a key role in service development by contributing to quality improvement initiatives, supporting the creation of clinical resources and procedures, and participating in audits and strategic planning to drive best practice.

In this leadership position, you will provide supervision, mentoring, and clinical support to junior Occupational Therapists while actively contributing to the development and cohesion of the broader team. You’ll lead case discussions, facilitate team learning sessions and reflective practice, and support staff through performance reviews and individual development planning. You’ll also assist with the onboarding and training of new clinicians, working alongside the Allied Health Operations Manager to coordinate team capacity, streamline workflows, and ensure clinical excellence. Your leadership will foster a positive, supportive team culture that prioritises continuous learning and client-focused care.

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy
  • General AHPRA Registration
  • 5 years' experience
  • A reliable vehicle and licence
  • Police Check
  • Working With Children
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Modules
