The role:
Step into a role where your day is filled with purposeful play, meaningful connection, and real impact. As a Play-Based Occupational Therapist, you’ll deliver evidence-informed support to young people across early childhood, school age, and young adulthood. You’ll provide therapy that is engaging and effective, using the power of play to support development in motor skills, sensory processing, emotional regulation, daily living, and participation in everyday activities.

You’ll work across a variety of settings including purpose-built clinics, homes, schools, and community environments. Your role will involve building strong, collaborative relationships with families, educators, and allied health professionals to create holistic, individualised care plans. You’ll tailor your caseload to align with your clinical strengths and interests, with the opportunity to support young people with a range of developmental differences and diagnoses.

In this role, you’ll balance autonomy with team connection—delivering services independently while actively participating in supervision, case discussions, and ongoing learning. You’ll contribute to a team that values creativity, collaboration, and clinical excellence, while maintaining detailed documentation and contributing to a positive, client-centred culture.
