About the Role
  • As an Occupational Therapist, you’ll have the opportunity to:
  • Assess, plan, and evaluate care plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Design and implement engaging lifestyle programmes to support well-being.
  • Provide expert guidance to Occupational Therapy Assistants and Lifestyle Coordinators.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care.
  • Innovate with non-pharmacological strategies for behaviour management.

Your Day-to-Day
  • Conduct assessments that go beyond the surface, capturing what truly matters to residents.
  • Inspire individuals through personalised activities that foster independence and joy.
  • Stay at the forefront of best practices, ensuring treatments align with leading industry standards.
  • Be a crucial link between residents, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring seamless communication and care delivery.
What You’ll Need
  • Full AHPRA registration
  • A deep understanding of aged care standards and a heart for working with diverse needs.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
