About the Role
- As an Occupational Therapist, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Assess, plan, and evaluate care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Design and implement engaging lifestyle programmes to support well-being.
- Provide expert guidance to Occupational Therapy Assistants and Lifestyle Coordinators.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care.
- Innovate with non-pharmacological strategies for behaviour management.
Your Day-to-Day
- Conduct assessments that go beyond the surface, capturing what truly matters to residents.
- Inspire individuals through personalised activities that foster independence and joy.
- Stay at the forefront of best practices, ensuring treatments align with leading industry standards.
- Be a crucial link between residents, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring seamless communication and care delivery.
- Full AHPRA registration
- A deep understanding of aged care standards and a heart for working with diverse needs.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
