The Role:
As Case Work Manager, you will lead and support a team of Case Managers working across our residential OOHC programs. Your role will involve providing best-practice guidance, mentoring, and compliance oversight to ensure all casework aligns with DCJ policy, the NSW Child Safe Standards, and internal practice standards. You’ll review and sign off case plans, provide training to staff, support compliance and audits, and help young people prepare for leaving care and independence. Additionally, you will act as a floating house leader to cover for leave across therapeutic houses, fostering continuity of care. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone passionate about achieving long-term positive outcomes for young people with complex needs.

The Role:
As Case Work Manager, you will lead and support a team of Case Managers working across our residential OOHC programs. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone passionate about achieving long-term positive outcomes for young people with complex needs.
Essential Criteria:
- Degree in social sciences such as social work or psychology is desirable
- Minimum of 5 years’ casework experience within OOHC systems
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and mentoring skills
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed and therapeutic practice
- Experience supporting young people with complex behavioural and emotional needs
- Knowledge of legislative and accreditation requirements for residential care
- Excellent skills in planning, reviewing and delivering high-quality casework
- Ability to manage external stakeholder relationships effectively
- Willingness to be on-call after hours and weekends on a rotating roster
- Current Working with Children Check
