The role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Intake and Assessment Officer to play a pivotal role in our client's growth and mission to provide exceptional in-home, respite, community, SIL (Supported Independent Living), and nursing support services to adults and children with disabilities and other medical challenges across the greater Sydney region. This position is ideal for individuals with a healthcare, marketing, or business background who are committed to ensuring that our clients have access to safe and appropriate care and environments.

As an Intake and Assessment Officer, your primary responsibilities will include developing and implementing strategies to bring in new clients, forging strong connections within the healthcare community, and collaborating closely with both internal and external stakeholders. You will be a driving force behind our business development efforts, seeking opportunities to expand our clients services and increase inquiries. This may involve participation in expos, networking events, presentations to referrer groups, and meetings with potential new referrers.

Your role is instrumental in improving the overall client experience and driving the organization's growth. You will actively manage the client intake and transition processes, ensuring that high-quality service is delivered while maintaining thorough documentation and reporting. Your interactions will often serve as the first point of contact for potential clients and referrers, making your professional representation a vital component of the organisations positive and responsive image.

Essential Criteria
  • Qualification in Marketing, Business or related field
  • Experience working within NDIS/Aged Care sector in related position.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Demonstrated negotiation and business development skills
  • Current Police Check, NDIS Workers Screening Check and Working with Children Check
  • Driving License
