The Role:

Our client is seeking a passionate and experienced Clinical Manager to lead their centres across Tweed Heads, Lismore, and Ballina.

The Clinical Manager will:

  • Provide clinical guidance and supervision to a multidisciplinary team delivering youth mental health services
  • Oversee clinical governance, accreditation, and continuous service improvement 
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and legislative requirements
  • Lead the delivery of evidence-based interventions and a stepped model of care
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships with funding bodies, community partners, and universities
  • Mentor and develop clinical staff and placement students, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth
  • Act as Site Manager, ensuring safe environments and consistent incident and emergency responses

This is a leadership role with both strategic and hands-on responsibilities, providing an opportunity to shape services that support young people’s mental health, physical health, sexual health, alcohol and other drug concerns, and vocational/educational wellbeing.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in psychology, mental health nursing, or social work (with mental health accreditation)
  • Current professional registration (AHPRA or AASW)
  • Minimum 2 years experience supervising a multidisciplinary team in mental health, ideally within youth services
  • Strong knowledge of mental health trends, stepped care, and service delivery models
  • Skills in clinical supervision, mentoring, and workforce support
  • Experience in child protection legislation and practices
  • Proven ability to implement innovative solutions, manage complex challenges, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders

Mandatory: Current National Police Check , Working with Children Check and Full Drivers License
