Our client is a leading NDIS provider who are experiencing exponential growth across the state of NSW. They are made up of allied health and social work professionals who are dedicated to fostering empowerment, social inclusion and quality of life with people with a disability and their families.
About the Role:
Within this role, you will provide high-quality, client-focused therapeutic services including family support, assessments and training for careers, parents and support teams.
- Evaluating, developing and delivering evidence-based positive behaviour support plans and interventions
- Conducting a variety of assessments for participants of all ages and all disabilities
- Develop, deliver and monitor interventions and strategies for the management of behaviours of concern
- Provide training to relevant stakeholders in therapeutic interventions, behaviour support plans, restricted practices, risk and safety plans
- Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
Criteria:
- Assessed by the NDIS at being Core or above as a Behaviour Support Practitioner or Registered Psychologist
- Provisional Psychologists encouraged to apply
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work or equivalent experience that meets the requirements of the NDIS Capability Framework.
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC), National Police Check (NPC) and NDIS Workers Clearance or willingness to obtain
- Unrestricted Drivers Licence, reliable car and willingness to travel
- Current First Aid Certificate
