The Role

We’re looking for a Team Lead - Positive Behaviour Support to lead and mentor a team of 3-4 Behaviour Support Practitioners while keeping a small caseload yourself. You’ll be the go-to person for guidance, compliance, and quality assurance, ensuring that services meet all NDIS and licensing standards. You'll also collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists and therapists, to make a real impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities.

Duties include:

• Leading, mentoring, and supporting a small team
• Providing supervision and professional development opportunities
• Reviewing reports and ensuring high-quality documentation
• Conducting functional behaviour assessments and developing tailored PBS plans
• Overseeing compliance with NDIS regulations and service standards
• Communicating effectively with clients, families, and stakeholders
• Driving positive organisational change where needed

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, or a related field
• Proficiency Level or above as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
• 2+ years of experience in a senior role in the disability or mental health sector
• Strong leadership skills – mentoring and training experience is a must
• Solid understanding of NDIS regulations and compliance
• A Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check & National Police Clearance
• A valid driver’s licence
