The Role:
Our client is a well-established Paediatric Allied Health clinic serving Parramatta and the surrounding areas. They have a state-of-the-art Sensory/DIR Floortime clinic and are now seeking enthusiastic clinicians to join their growing team. The clinic offers Speech, Occupational Therapy (OT), and Psychology intervention services.

This exciting business provides Early Intervention services to children with Autism, ADHD, and Developmental Delays, focusing primarily on DIR Floortime and a Sensory Integrative approach. They have a special interest in supporting Neurodivergent presentations in a neuroaffirming way.

The clinic provides a creative, fun, innovative, and inclusive environment that supports children with developmental challenges and their families. Emphasizing the importance of parent-child attachment, the clinic nurtures this bond through parent coaching and direct play with children. The team is passionate about making a difference in lives!

With a close-knit team of 16 clinicians and support staff, the clinic places a strong focus on well-being, mental health, and work/life balance. Clinicians are ensured ample time to complete documentation within working hours, making each team member feel like part of the family rather than just a number.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate a commitment to teamwork and excellent communication and interpersonal skills when working with families, children, and team members.
  • Embed the clinic’s philosophy into daily practice, empowering parents to interact with their children through play.
  • Promote excellence and cater to the needs of children and parents, providing both challenges and support.
  • Develop inclusive and engaging play opportunities for each child to achieve individual goals and outcomes.
  • Participate in clinic-based sessions, school-based interventions, parent coaching, and peer group intervention sessions.
  • Be passionate about professional development with a drive to continually learn more about the important work they do.
Essential Criteria:
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with full membership to SPA.
  • Current First Aid, CPR, and Anaphylaxis Training.
  • Experience working with a range of Neurodivergent diagnoses.
  • High energy, willingness to continually learn, and a love for having fun with kids!
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • WWCC, Police Check, and NDIS Worker Clearance required.
  • Current drivers license preferred.
