The Role: 
Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech Pathologist to join their team, providing life-changing services that support children and young adults with speech, social communication, language, swallowing/feeding, and literacy difficulties. The Speech Pathologists also specialise in implementing augmentative and alternative communication systems, ensuring comprehensive support for their clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, diagnose, and create person-centred goals for clients.
  • Collaborate with families and wider allied health teams to individualise therapy processes and techniques.
  • Provide support with speech difficulties, social communication, and safe swallowing.
  • Implement appropriate Augmentative and Alternative Communication Systems.
  • Treat language disorders, stuttering, pronunciation issues, and other common conditions.
  • Conduct voice therapy sessions.
  • Engage in open communication with parents, discussing conditions knowledgeably and with care.
  • Utilise evidence-based strategies and engaging activities to make therapy fun and effective.

 
Essential Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech Pathology.
  • SPA registration. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • WWCC, National Police Check, Drivers License required 
  • Full Drivers License
