The role:

As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality speech pathology services across a diverse caseload, supporting individuals with communication and swallowing difficulties. Working within established guidelines and budgets, you will provide assessments, develop intervention plans, and implement evidence-based therapies to help clients achieve their communication goals. You will maintain comprehensive case notes, prepare reports, and collaborate with families, educators, and other health professionals to ensure holistic care.

Your role will evolve based on your experience level, from building foundational clinical skills as a New Graduate to taking on mentoring responsibilities and contributing to service improvements as a Senior Clinician (depending on your experience). As you progress, you will guide junior team members, provide clinical supervision, and contribute to team development through knowledge-sharing and professional support. At all levels, you will actively engage in continuous professional development, keeping up to date with industry trends and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and standards.

Beyond clinical work, you will play an integral role in service growth and improvement by contributing to quality assurance, compliance, and innovative service delivery initiatives. You will use data-driven decision-making to refine service models, participate in professional networking, and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Your ability to adapt to changing client needs and service requirements will be key to ensuring that individuals receive the best possible care, empowering them to achieve their communication and life goals?

Essential Criteria
  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Speech Pathology or relevant discipline
  • SPA registration
  • Valid NDIS Check
  • Police Check
  • Working with Children Check
